Composition

ProCab represents one of the most versatile products of the Prometheus’ offer. These cabinets are small and medium cases, made from multi-folded single sheets in AISI 304 or 316L stainless steel, carbon steel or light alloy steel, carefully refined and painted according to required specification. Suitable to be installed directly on the equipment or hung to the wall, this product – fully manufactured in Italy – is realized following standard features, such as:

  • Blind door or Lexan shatterproof window (according to the EHS regulation in place) to meet safety and durability requirements
  • Trimmed profiles doors for maximum stability
  • Inner stainless-steel hinges matching 120 °C opening set-up as per CEI EN 60204-1 standards
  • EPDM or silicone gaskets on the folded edge of the cabinet body
  • Galvanized or stainless steel inner tools-holder plate fixed on the cabinet back wall
  • Pre-setting for grounding in conformity with law regulations

Customizable features

The design of ProCab follows the individual details provided by the customer. Storm doors, roofs, wall brackets, grommet plate and other features are designed to meet IP 66 index protection. ProCab can be provided with additional features according to the customer’ needs:

  • Wall fixing supports in AISI 304 or AISI 316L stainless steel, carbon steel or light alloy steel
  • Pre-drilled inner plate to fasten instrumentation
  • Instrumentation gauges for control and inspection purposed
  • Special sealing system to withstand critical ambient conditions from -60 to +250°C and internal heating system for harsh environment
