MIM Metal Injection Molding

Mimecrisa, part of the Ecrimesa Group, is one of the world's leading companies in the field of metal powder injection molding (MIM). As the first company in the world to produce MIM parts in a continuous furnace, Mimecrisa has since 1993 developed more than 2000 different references with customers from more than 20 countries and various industrial sectors. The in-house tool shop is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment such as wire erosion machines or 5-axis high-speed machining centers.

Mimecrisa has a wide range of automatic spraying machines including robotic handling for the highest quality and productivity. The fully automated production enables the production of components without manual handling, starting with the spraying of the green compacts until they leave the sintering furnace. The facilities are equipped with optical inspection systems to meet the highest quality requirements.

Mimecrisa has a total of three continuous binder removal / sintering plants, as well as two chamber furnaces with a total capacity of more than 300 tons per year. The metallurgical and metrological laboratories form the basis of the productivity and quality of the finished components. The engineers and technicians working here have a great deal of experience in the field of MIM technology.

Materials:
low-alloyed steel (iron-nickel), tool steel (slightly magnetic), stainless steel (ferritic, martensitic, hardened, non-magnetic, nickel-free, heat-resistant), special alloys (heat & wear resistant up to 1000°C eg Hastelloy)

Processing:
The Ecrimesa Group offers in-house machining. At the same time, they have a great deal of expertise in the processing of molded parts. All machining and inspection tools are developed and manufactured on site.
